Update: Downtown Snow Removal

“The City of Bismarck Public Works will be removing snow in the Bismarck downtown “No-Parking – Street Cleaning” signed areas overnight tonight from midnight to 7 a.m. (Thursday, November 17), as well as on East-West streets and alleys in that area. Individuals and businesses are asked to move vehicles off the street and keep them off the streets as indicated on the signs. Businesses along these signed street cleaning areas, that have not already been cleaned, should have their sidewalks cleaned before midnight on their designated day. Bismarck Police Department will be towing any vehicles parked on these streets.”

Second Class of Citizen Academy

The city of Bismarck is accepting applications for the second class of Bismarck Citizen Academy!
This 12-week program aims to inform, develop and engage residents, students and business owners in the Bismarck municipal government experience. Participants will get a hands-on, in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at how Bismarck City Government provides high quality service to the community and help them gain a better understanding of what it takes to operate a city. Interested candidates for 2023 must submit their application online during the month of November 2022.

The Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization and City of Bismarck are reaching out to corridor property owners, businesses, the community, and others to envision how Bismarck’s E Main Ave. corridor can best serve everyone in 2045. Study limits include E Main Ave. from 7th St. to 26th St. Study topics include traffic, walking, biking, transit, and development opportunities.
