The Downtowners Association of Bismarck is a once again a Neighborhood Champion for this year’s Small Business Saturday event Nov 26. Locally year seven of the Small Business Saturday event brings together nearly 40 Downtown Bismarck businesses with participating sales and specials in an effort to get the public to “shop small” for the holidays. The annual event takes place the Saturday following Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
Small Business Saturday is an effort to get customers to spend part of their holiday budget at local independent small businesses, support friends and neighbors businesses, and make a greater impact on the local economy.
With Downtown Bismarck’s art, retail, restaurant, service, and entertainment businesses participating, there’s a wide variety for shoppers to choose from. Selected restaurants are hosting breakfast/brunch and coffee promotions as well as dining specials. Many Downtown retailers, service businesses and entertainment venues are offering door busters and discounts on merchandise, gift cards, services and hosting special events.
