Pop Up Bismarck!

The pop-up pathway is a temporary “quick-build” demonstration of a potential future pathway in the heart of Bismarck for all ages and abilities. This path is located along Front Ave, Memorial Highway and Lake Avenue between South Fifth Street and Riverside Road. Events will be scheduled for the public each Saturday starting September 23 to October 14.

This Saturday, September 30, Bank of North Dakota, will be partnering with the YMCA for a Family Funday from 1-3 pm located on the east lawn. You can expect inflatables (wind pending), games, cookies, lemonade, College SAVE and student loan information. Mojo 107.5 will be hosting a live remote and playing music.
On October 7th, the Prairie Plein Air Artists will be painting in Zonta Park between 11 am and 2 pm. While enjoying the Pathway and the park atmosphere, you are invited to check out their creations!
Walk, Bike, or Roll your way to Brunch in Downtown Bismarck using the Pop Up Pathway by Pop Up Bismarck! Starting near the Missouri River and ending Downtown– where there are a number of breakfast, brunch, and coffee destinations. More details to come!

The goal of the pop-up pathway is to measure interest in a permanent pathway, get citizen feedback on the proposed routes, and ask what improvements should be considered if a permanent version is developed in the future.
The pop-up pathway demonstration project is made possible due to the generous support from AARP.  Citizen volunteers have also donated time to help with the installation.
