Downtown Cleaning Day

Last Friday was our annual downtown clean up day. Thank you to the volunteers from Petro Hunt and BNC National Bank who spent their morning helping us weed the flower beds, pick up trash, and stain benches. Taking care of the flower beds is important as many pollinators will winter in the planting beds, and the plants themselves will drop ripe seed for next year.

New CAT Bus Tracking Mobile App

Bis-Man Transit is excited to announce that a new CAT (Capital Area Transit) bus tracking mobile app is now live.  Passengers can download “Passio Go” to their smartphones to view arrival times and bus locations in real-time.  The app is a free download from the Google Play or App Store.

With this technology upgrade, CAT bus riders can access information about individual routes and schedules.  Riders can also set bus arrival alerts and tag favorite routes and timing points.  Additional alerts for service changes or delays will serve to keep all riders informed.  The software also provides comprehensive reporting to aid in future route revisions.

With only a single smuggled score, they performed the celebrated oratorio sixteen times, including one performance before senior SS officials from Berlin and an International Red Cross delegation. Conductor Rafael Schächter told the choir, “We will sing to the Nazis what we cannot say to them.”
