Art + Wine = A Good Time
The 6th Annual Downtowners Art & Wine Walk is June 15! Early-bird ticket sales have begun and are selling quickly. Enjoy this wonderful event while walking to different downtown locations, sampling varietals of wine and getting your passport stamped. Get your Art & Wine Walk passport stamped at each location and you will have a chance to win our Grand Prize. This year’s Grand Prize is the biggest in Art & Wine Walk history! Each location will have either a local artist or musician that will showcase their work while creating an entertaining environment. 24 locations will be participating in this year’s Art & Wine Walk, including 8 first-time businesses! Tickets for the event are $45/person for early-bird + processing, you must be 21 to participate. Early-bird prices will increase starting May 29. Proceeds from the Downtowners Art & Wine Walk will go to the Downtowners non-profit to promote betterment and revitalization efforts of our historic Downtown for the entire community to enjoy. The Downtowners Executive Director, Dawn Kopp celebrated 10 years at the Downtowners Association May 15! Throughout the 10 years of Dawn being at the Downtowners, she has moved mountains in the progression of Downtown Bismarck and is still a huge contributor to our community. Stop by the Peacock Alley Langer Room on Tuesday, May 30 at 4-6pm and wish Dawn a Happy 10 Year Downtown Work Anniversary! Appetizers will be provided.
Join the Downtowners and Bismarck Motor Company for Das Auto Fest, a Pre-German Days Celebration at Volkswagen of Bismarck on Thursday, June 22 from 5-7pm. There will be a live accordion player, the crew from Bismarck Motor Company will be grilling brats, serving beverages and of course showcasing Volkswagens! Local accordion player, Jim Geiger, will be providing polka music for festive fun. You will also have chances to win Downtowners German Days tickets for (July 13-15).

BisMarket’s opening market is scheduled for June 3 at Kiwanis Park/Municipal Ballpark Lot. Each market runs 10am-1pm every Saturday from June 3 through October. BisMarket is a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The mission of BisMarket is to provide access to a variety of locally grown, high quality, farm-fresh products direct from local producers.
