The 11th Annual Downtowners Art & Wine Walk tickets are now on sale!
Enjoy this wonderful event while walking to different downtown locations, sampling varietals of wine and getting your passport stamped. Each location will showcase a local artist or musician. Tickets for the event are $50/person for early-bird + processing, you must be 21 to participate. Early-bird pricing ends on May 27. Ticket usually sell out, so be sure to get them early!

Main Street Now Conference

Downtowners staff are headed to Richmond, Virginia for the Main Street Now Conference!

Main Street Now is the largest national convening of local leaders working to advance economic opportunity in downtowns and commercial districts.
Downtowners staff, Kate Herzog & Dawn Kopp, plus City of Bismarck staff, Daniel Nairn, have been selected to be speakers in two different course crashes. Kate and Daniel will be presenting on, “Creating an Infill and Redevelopment Plan” and Dawn will be presenting on, “Benefits of Pollinators and Public Art Mash-Ups within the Built Environment“.
We are excited to share and bring home ideas to others and our community!

City of Bismarck is Celebrating 150 Years!
The City of Bismarck will celebrate “150 years of Tradition and Innovation” with a series of exciting kick-off events beginning May 13. The festivities will begin by celebrating “150 years of Tradition and Innovation” with a series of exciting kickoff events beginning May 13, with the Band Night Parade. On Founders Day, Saturday, May 14, the Bismarck Event Center has a full line-up of activities including the “Best of Bismarck Show of the Century…and a Half,” featuring local talent with former Mayor Bill Sorenson as the emcee, and a community barbecue. The Event Center’s Exhibit Halls will host exhibits celebrating the city’s history, and a “History & Mystery Scavenger Hunt” will take place on the state capitol grounds. As the year progresses, there will be more official and unofficial summer-long celebrations, activities, and events for residents and visitors to enjoy. You’re invited to join us to celebrate and honor Bismarck’s rich history!
