Bismarck Advances to Elite 8! VOTE NOW

Bismarck has advanced to the second round of the sixth annual Strongest Town CompetitionThis contest is the annual celebration of the towns and cities across North America who are building stronger communities, even in times of uncertainty and change.

Voting closes at 12pm CDT on Thursday, March 25th.

Luna Nox Boutique Grand Opening
Celebrate the Grand Opening of Luna Nox Boutique on April 3! Treats will be provided and coffee drinks and lattes will be available for purchase. 10% of the day’s sale will be donated to Abused Adult Resource Center for Sexual Awareness Month. Luna Nox Boutique will be accepting donations throughout the month of April of needed items for AARC Emergency Shelter.

Public Input- Downtown Street Work
The City of Bismarck will be hosting a Virtual Public Input Meeting on March 31 to receive public input and comments on improvements to streets (4th St, 5th St., Broadway, Thayer Ave. & 6th St.) in Downtown Bismarck. The project consists of concrete pavement repairs and pedestrian facilities improvements.

Micro-distillery Ordinance Passes
The Downtowners Association supported a new ordinance that will allow micro-distilleries in Bismarck.  City Commissioners voted 5-0 in favor of the ordinance.  The domestic distilleries are limited to 25,000 gallons of spirits per year and would be allowed by right in industrial areas, and by special use permits in the Downtown Core and Downtown Fringe zoning districts.
