Candidate Views on Downtown

The Downtowners Association of Bismarck sent three questions to candidates regarding their ideas and views on Downtown Bismarck.  Mayoral and City Commission candidates were asked the same three questions (listed below).

Sculpture Installation
Dakota West Arts Council invites you to the public art installation of the permanent sculpture, “Redstone Grassses” on Friday, June 8 at the Bismarck Event Center (lower northweat entrance) from 9-10am. The sculpture was donated to Dakota West Arts Council and is being added to the list of public art in Bismarck. The artist and donor will make brief comments around 10am after the installation. Farmer’s Market Season
BisMarket season has begun!
Each market runs 10am-1pm every Saturday from June 3 through October. Located at Kiwanis Park, along Sweet Avenue. The mission of the BisMarket is to provide access to a variety of locally grown, high quality, farm-fresh products direct from local producers. This family-oriented market enhances community building, fosters local business development and encourages healthy food choices in a green outdoor space. Parking is available in the Municipal Ballpark lot west entrance.
