Ribfest Returns June 12-14

Each year the Downtowners produce the Rip-Roarin’ Ribfest community event as a fundraiser for the organization.  This year the Downtowners are excited to announce music headliner and North Dakota native Gwen Sebastian will be taking the stage Saturday June 14, joining Thursday and Friday headliners Dirty Blonde and Bobby Cutshaw kicking off the first two days.  New to this year’s Ribfest is Uncle Bub’s BBQ from Westmont Illinois, joining four returning Ribbers: Johnsons, Howlin Coyote, Porky ‘n Beans, and Rasta Joes.  As always, we’ll have our big ticket vendors, inflatable games for kids, beer garden, Cloverdale VIP Tickets and much more!  We want to thank our sponsors for supporting this Downtowners Association fundraiser. Downtown Flower Planters

On Friday May 30, a group of Downtowners along with City of Bismarck Forestry staff planted 10 large flower planters west of 3rd Street along Broadway to Washington Street.  Businesses along the route paid to adopt the planters for the entire season as well as water and maintain them.  We’d like to thank Forestry staff and these businesses for brightening up Downtown Bismarck!
