Community + Downtown Pollinators!

With the help of our partners, we planted hundreds of native pollinator species in the beds downtown! These plants provide important habitat for our prairie friends as well as add beauty to our downtown. Thank you also to our granting partner and planters Petro-Hunt!

Over the years these beds will establish and reseed themselves. This is year three of our collaboration and the beds we install the first year are thriving. Thank you again to all our partners and volunteers, it’s looking great!

New Member: Bisman Communtiy Food Coop

“The Bisman Community Food Coop is a community owned grocery store that specializes as a hub for North Dakota’s farmers, ranchers, and producers to sell their products. We have a full service cafe and deli, daily hot lunch, and a salad bar stocked with local and organic ingredients. Our hours are Monday – Saturday, 8am – 7pm, and no membership is needed to shop at the Coop.”

Downtown Road Construction Update
“On Saturday, June 25, 2022, Thayer Avenue will reopen between 3^rd Street and the alley between 4^th Street and 5^th Street and 4^th Street will reopen from Thayer Avenue to mid-block to the South.

Next phase of work will begin around the intersection of 6^th Street and Rosser Avenue. The impacted area will include 6^th Street between Thayer Avenue to just north of Rosser Avenue and Rosser Avenue on both sides of the intersection of 6^th Street. The impacted area will be reduced to two lanes with traffic continuing to flow in both directions. The contractor will begin pavement repairs.”
