Commerce Announces New Grant Program

The State of North Dakota recently approved up to $69 million to administer the Economic Resiliency Grant (ERG) Program
The Economic Resiliency Grant Program helps entrepreneurs and small businesses by growing consumer confidence. Small businesses in ND may qualify for grant funding of up to $50K supporting investments to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Allowable expenses should be items that stop/slow the spread of COVID-19 and increase consumer confidence, like touchless payment systems, PPE, as well as items that may allow businesses to adapt their business model like developing a delivery friendly website, delivery vehicles, etc.  Program guidelines are still being developed.  Expenses in these areas may be reimbursed if purchased after ND March shutdowns with proper documentation.
If you are planning to apply for this grant, it is highly recommended to have all items in order to apply immediately after the application opens closer to the end of July.
