Still Time to Shop-Downtown Prime Days!

Keep celebrating our local businesses by shopping local in-person, online, or both! Small businesses are the heart of our unique community. Shop small and shop often with your local businesses. Join the Downtowners Association in celebrating all the wonderful shops, galleries, service providers, and restaurants, their owners and staff by shopping, ordering, booking appointments, giving high fives, and showing your gratitude during Downtown Prime Days July 12-13. We know local businesses are the bee’s knees, so let’s come together and share the love for all the support they give our community every day!
Check out the discussion tab on this event for fabulous sales, promotions, activities and more. Check back often as specials are being added frequently!

During Downtown Prime Days (July 12&13)– Hourly parking will be FREE in the Main & 3rd Street Parking Ramp.

Downtown Street Project Update

Decide the Future of East Main Avenue!
The Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization and City of Bismarck are studying the East Main Avenue corridor to envision how the corridor can best serve everyone into 2045 and the future. The study area includes East Main Avenue from 7th Street to 26th Street and study topics include traffic, walking, biking, transit, and development opportunities. Input is needed from corridor property owners, businesses, and those who travel the corridor by any means, to help achieve a vision which will benefit all users of the corridor. More information about the East Main Avenue Corridor Study and how you can get involved can be found at the project website

Find Waldo in Bismarck!
Where’s Waldo? In Bismarck, of course! The iconic children’s book character in the red-and-white-striped shirt and black-rimmed specs is visiting twenty-five local businesses throughout our community this July. Celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2022, Find Waldo Local is a great summer vacation activity and a wonderful way to support local businesses!
Anyone who wishes to participate can pick up a “Find Waldo Local in Bismarck!” stamp card, which contains the names of all the participating sites, at Ferguson Books & More!
