Bismarck Livability Survey
The Bismarck Mayor’s Economic Development Advisory Group is asking Bismarck citizens to take their Livability Survey, focusing on future opportunities and quality of life topics in the city. The Livability Survey will gather information and input from citizens to improve the long-term environment of the community. The results of the survey will be discussed at the Bismarck Mayor’s Livability Summit and will assist the Mayor’s Economic Development Advisory Group explore how to continue to grow and invest for the city’s future Strategic Planning efforts. The Mayor’s Economic Development Advisory Group (MEDAG) consists of community stakeholders and city leaders. The Bismarck Mayor’s Livability Summit is March 9 from 9am-2:30pm at the National Energy Center of Excellence on the Bismarck State College campus. Please take the survey here: bismarcksurvey.com.

Member Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra continues the 2016-2017 season’s “Vision of Grandeur,” with the fun and entertainment of “Winning Themes,” on Saturday, Jan 21. This concert highlights some of the best music in history. Concert starts at 7:30pm at the Belle Mehus Auditorium. Member ART Gallerie on Main has teamed up with the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation for a monthly expressive arts workshop located at ART Gallerie on Main. Workshops are free for current and former patients, their families and caregivers. The next workshop, Mask Making, will take place on Feb 2 from 6-8pm and Feb 4 from 2-4pm. The City of Bismarck is asking neighborhoods to Adopt a Hydrant this snowy season. Adopt a Hydrant program will assist the Bismarck Fire Department in locating and clearing hydrants for easy access in case of emergencies. We encourage Downtown property owners and businesses to locate a hydrant near them and clear them! To find where the closest hydrant is in your neighborhood, please use the Interactive Hydrant Map.
