Two Public Art Projects Approved

Two Downtown pubic art projects were approved at the January Renaissance Zone Authority meeting.  The first was approval of a mural in a below grade stairwell at the Rejuvenation Place on 4th & Broadway. Authority members, who also act at the Downtown Design Review board, had some discussion about the placement and approval process of the mural before acceptance.
The second is a donated sculpture to be placed at the Bismarck Event Center. Bismarck City Commissioners accepted the sculpture donation prior to the Renaissance Zone Authority meeting.
