HERG+ Applications Close Dec.18!
The Hospitality ERG PLUS will focus on businesses in the lodging sector. Many of these businesses continue to suffer from the continued impact of the 2019-nCov/COVID-19 (COVID-19) pandemic.
Hospitality ERG PLUS funds will be used to reimburse eligible entities for costs in operations, such as payroll, rent, utilities and other expenses that comply with federal guidelines. Payroll taxes and other taxes are not eligible for reimbursement.
Grantees will be chosen on a first come, first served basis among all recipients who have self-certified that they are complying with the current North Dakota Smart Restart protocols. Noncompliance with these protocols will result in the repayment of all grants funds.
Still thinking of ideas for holiday gifts? We made fun video of staff giving a few (or 12) ideas of holiday gifts you can get from a variety of shops in downtown Bismarck! Check it out below.
The City Commission voted 3-2 to extend the sale of alcoholic beverages with to-go food orders until February 9, 2021. This means you can get a pitcher of margaritas with your Mexican food or growler with your burger, as the regulation allows the sale of beer, wine or any mixed drink, up to 64 oz. in a sealed container. This is a great way to keep supporting our local restaurants during time of COVID.
Our friends at Juniper Workantile in Downtown Bismarck created this fun window display in the former Sweet Treats & Bakery space (118 N 4th St.) Small stuffed animal toys will be added to the display that they plan on giving away to the best pictures (or selfies) posted with the hashtag #GreetingsFromBismarck. While you are out shopping locally, be sure to stop and snap a picture for some fun holiday fun!
