Day of Caring Downtown

Volunteers help spruce up the City Center…

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has. — Margaret Mead.

This Wednesday a group of over 30 volunteers along with DBA staff were in Downtown Bismarck helping with United Way’s Day of Caring.  Trimming trees, pulling weeds, collecting garbage, mulching beds, and did I mention pulling weeds?  Each year, theUnited Waysigns up countless volunteers to assist the community with projects.  This year we collected more than 42 bags of trash and garden waste!  Thank you toUnited Wayand all the volunteers and supporters.  Including lunch donations from The Blarney Stone, Patisserie on Fourth, Peacock Alley, and The Toasted Frog.  Along with equipment funds and donations by Runnings and Widmer Roel PC.

Looking good Downtown!
