44th Annual Street Fair Sept 15-16
Bismarck’s Biggest Reunion is just around the corner! The 44th Annual Downtowners Street Fair and major autumn event is set for Friday and Saturday September 15-16. Over 180 food, arts, and craft vendors line the streets of Downtown Bismarck Friday 10am-8pm and Saturday 9am-6pm. Our local Sam’s Club crew will be on hand with their Monster Mural Art Activity and giveaways near the info booth on 4th & Broadway. Kids inflatables and games will be located in the parking lot on 5th and Broadway, and local musicians will be busking (performing) at the Busker’s Corner on 4th and Broadway. Parking is available in the Downtown ramps for $1/hour or $6/day.
Stop by and register for a chance to win $10,000 in home improvements from Your Home Improvement Co. AND there will be some special guests from the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader squad at Street Fair Saturday, more details on that to come! Member Northern Plains Dance presents the 2nd Annual Mother/Son Dance on Sept 29 at the Radisson Hotel. The Prince Charming Ball is a dance for boys ages 5-12 and that special lady in their lives, whether it be mom, aunt or grandma. The event will feature dinner (optional), a fun photo booth, crafts and formal photos for all in attendance. Get tickets before they sell out!
North Dakota Humanities Council created GameChanger, an annual ideas festival focused on a major event or issue significantly changing the face of our world. This year’s focus is titled ‘In Justice- Rethinking America’s Criminal Justice System’, join the conversation on the justice system in America and listen to profound authors and speakers. The event is Saturday, September 23 at Belle Mehus. Advanced tickets are limited. Tickets may be purchased online or at 428 E Broadway, Suite 8.
The Seventh Annual North Dakota Downtown Conference is Oct. 17-18 in Fargo, North Dakota.
