2021 State of the Downtown Recap

Thank you to all of our members, local partners, and community members who “virtually” attended our State of the Downtown 2021. In the presentation, we highlighted Downtown projects and initiatives, upcoming news, and Downtown market conditions. The June & Jim Thompson Downtown Leadership and Volunteer of the Year awards were presented.

A very exciting project the Downtown staff has been working on was revealed-
Downtown Bismarck Digital GiftCard! (shown below)
This Digital GiftCard will replace our Downtown Dollars and make it easier for consumers and purchasers to shop and buy at participating locations. More information about the Digital GiftCard will be available soon!

Congrats to Our Award Winners!

Each year the Downtowners nominate 2 people for our June & Jim Thompson Downtown Leadership and Volunteer of the Year award respectively. We would like to congratulate our award winners- Dawn Kopp & J.Morgan Legreid!

Dawn Kopp has been with the Downtowners for almost 14 years- and the countless, tireless hours she has spent working for Downtown Bismarck and the community has not gone unseen. Thank you Dawn for all your dedication and leadership to Downtown Bismarck and our members! We are very proud of you.

J.Morgan Legreid sat on Downtowners Board of Directors from 2017-2021. J.Morgan actively volunteered his time helping at any and every event the Downtowners hosted (wind, rain, or heat). J.Morgan was dedicated to creating the best downtown for the community, and he always lent a helping hand wherever it was needed. Thank you J.Morgan, for all your hard work with the Downtowners!

Let’s clean up Bismarck! Come to the Hillside Aquatic Complex at Lions Park, 1719 E Boulevard Ave, Bismarck between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Rotary Club Bismarck will have areas to assign, bags, and safety vests! Please wear long pants and bring gloves.
