Tickets for the Dakota Digital Film Festival set for Friday April 10 are now on sale. This relatively new festival in Bismarck has made a big splash in the community, growing the event and adding another layer of art appreciation. The DDFF event format includes student submissions during the day, an evening schedule of submitted short works, and included this year are tickets for Saturday’s Internet Cat Video Festival (it’s exactly what it sounds like). All DDFF events will be at the Belle Mehus Auditorium. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.dakotadigitalfilmfestival.org.
The 2nd Annual Keep Bismarck Beautiful Clean-Up Day will be happening Saturday, May 2, 9am-Noon at Seratoma Park, Shelter 6. They will have specific locations to clean up, or you may pick up litter in a neighborhood of your choice. Bring garden gloves, wear long pants and comfortable shoes. They will provide garbage bags and safety vests. Donuts, coffee and water will be served.
An open house for the proposed Five South Development is scheduled for Thursday April 2 at the Bismarck Event (Civic) Center from 5-7pm. Community members are welcome to attend. http://fivesouthbismarck.com/
