Budget Inn Demo

Downtown Burger Slam

The First Annual Downtown Burger Slam presented by First Western Bank is up and running! Votes have already been pouring in, and it’s a tight race for the top, so don’t forget to vote after you try a Burger Slam creation! We are excited to try all the burgers, and we hope you are able to try them all too. Lula B. offers customizable trucker hats, ranging from $25-40. The hat bar is always set up in store, but the it can also be found at various events, including one on May 7th, more info to come. You can also book the hat bar for free for a party or as a pop-up at another business.

Collage Class with Rob Anderson

April 20th from 10am-1:30pm at BAGA.

This workshop is open to individuals at any skill level. Participants will learn about and explore how the elements and principles or design work together to create an artwork. As part of the workshop, participants will create papers using a variety colors, textures, and patterns that can be used in their collage. Registration is required.

Little Kids, Big World: Seed Balls

Learn the importance of taking care of the Earth. Make seed balls, a fun way to spread flowers around our surroundings.

Toddlers and preschoolers are invited to the free interactive learning series “Little Kids, Big World” at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum. These interactive 30-minute programs introduce children to North Dakota’s fascinating history. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and are asked to meet at the west entrance information desk.

The event will be Saturday, April 20th at 10 and 11 am and on Wednesday, April 24th at 10 am.

Jousting Lemur: Wine and Food Pairing Event

Friday, April 26th, The Jousting Lemur is having a wine and food pairing event, hosted by Cory from the Klinker Brick Winery & Emily from The Jousting Lemur. 10 different wines from the Klinker Brick Winery will be featured with a  food pairing. There will be two private events. One from 4:30-7pm and the other from 7:30-10pm. Registration is required as seating is limited. Must be 21 year’s or older to attend.

BMSO Presents: A Winning Spirit

BMSO’s April concert features the winners of their Young Artist Competition. The winners are Hannah Ray (vocal division), Ashur Olson, (junior division), and Kevin Vandal, (senior division.) They will all solo at this concert. The orchestra will also perform the Academic Festival Overture by Johannes Brahms.
