Renaissance Zone Investments Up in 2017
The State’s Renaissance Zone program has proven to be an effective tool for redevelopment, private investment, and creating jobs in Bismarck. It has been a very busy year in Downtown with 14 project applications for Renaissance Zone designation from January through November of 2017, and more proposed investments anticipated for 2018. Overall, Downtown Bismarck has seen 9.8 million dollars in proposed investments this year (January-November), which does not include primary residences. Bismarck’s Renaissance Zone encourages investment in downtown properties, revitalizing and strengthening the dense core of the community and area of existing infrastructure.
